I saw this on feministing (www.feministing.com since I can't make it link) and had to share.
Love making scenes are formulaic when it comes to Soap Operas. You do have a few options (whether its in a bed or outside I suppose), but mostly, its the soft core porn that (most) women eat up. There is the wonderful mood lighting, candles, champagne, tender kissing, removal of a few articles of clothing, then the couple moves to the bed and then there is the aftershot of them snuggling.
I LOVE that One Life to Live didn't change the formula for Oliver and Kyle. Yes its two men but the message is the same, the way it was shot was the same and there was no "ew, they're men" sentiment to it.
